It was an honor to host the Seattle Recycled Arts show over the years and we were so inspired we decided to continue the mission.

ART Guidelines: We define (the same as SRA) “recycled art” as art created using a minimum of 75% reclaimed materials- by volume-including the substrate- in INNOVATIVE, MULTILAYERED, INTRICATE and/or UNUSUAL ways.
FASHION Guidelines- as in previous years, we accept fashion submissions, we view it as upcycled materials used in the piece. 75% of finished pieces and or garments must be made of upcycled materials, closures such as zippers can be new. The bulk of the garment must be made of upcycled materials. Garments must be wearable and available for sale. This includes jewelry, accessories and clothing.

Submissions Open: March 1st
Submission Deadline: May 15th
Notification of Acceptance: May 25th
Exhibit Dates: July 8th – August 22nd
Artist’s receptions: July 11th and August 8th (fashion show is in August) both are on Saturdays during the Georgetown Art Walk.
